Italian Report Claims There’s A Minimal Chance Of Matias Vecino Leaving Inter Now

It is looking increasingly likely that Matias Vecino will be staying put at Inter this month according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Uruguayan international midfielder has drawn interest from Premier League side Everton but they have not upped their offer from €14 million, which Inter rejected.

The chances of the 28-year-old now leaving Inter would appear to be minimal unless Everton come back in strongly for him.

Inter, who had placed him on the transfer list in recent weeks, have also had a change of heart and would now be happy to keep him at the club also.

The report goes on to state that it is unlikely that Inter will be pursuing another striker in the final few days of the January transfer window.

Inter look set to stick with the four strikers they already have in their ranks in Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez, Alexis Sanchez and teen sensation Sebastiano Esposito.
