Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of the next match with Hoffenheim, Bayern Munich interim manager Hansi Flick has revealed that Ivan Perisic has fractured his ankle.
The 31-year-old Croatian winger joined the Bundesliga outfit on a season long loan from Inter this past Summer and now looks set for a spell out on the sidelines after sustaining the injury in training.
Since joining the Bavarian club, Perisic has made 22 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored five goals and tallied eight assists.
“Ivan has fractured his ankle, which means it will be four weeks before everything has healed up. After that he will start his recovery training programme,” Flick confirmed.
