Antonio Candreva was Inter’s best performing player in last night’s Serie A loss away to Lazio according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian wing back got up and down the wing all game prior to his substitution during the second half and technically assisted Inter’s opener as it was his long range shot that Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha spilled into the path of Ashley Young to fire home. Candreva has been given a rating of seven for his efforts in the match.
Ashley Young, Christian Eriksen, Romelu Lukaku were Inter’s joint second best performers with them being handed ratings of 6.5 whilst Daniele Padelli, Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino all got ratings of six.
Diego Godin, Milan Skriniar, Victor Moses and Nicolo Barella all got 5.5 but were spared from being the worst performers of the Nerazzurri team.
The worst performance in the eyes of the Rome based newspaper came from Lautaro Martinez, who they gave half marks too.
