Inter Could Go Back In For Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso In The Summer

Inter could well go back in for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The Nerazzurri club showed a keen interest in the Spanish full back during the recent January transfer window but were put off making a move for him after Chelsea demanded a sum of €30 million, which was far more than Inter were willing to pay for him.

Come the end of the season, Alonso, who has struggled to make it into the squad for league matches for a few months now, could try and force a move away from the Premier League outfit in order to be reunited with Conte, who he worked with at Chelsea.

Alonso has been with Chelsea since the Summer of 2016 and is under contract with the Blues until the end of the 2022/23 season.

This season Alonso has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date. In just under 1200 minutes on the field, the majority of which came at the start of the season, Alonso has contributed one goal and tallied three assists.
