Inter will not discuss any contract renewals with players until the end of the season according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

This was a decision that was taken at the beginning of the season and Inter manager Antonio Conte is in full agreement with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta in this regard.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to specifically look at a potential contract renewal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.

22-year-old Argentine international Lautaro’s agent Beto Yaque was surprised at how firm Inter stood when he requested to hold talks over a new contract for his client, who has drawn extremely strong links over a move to Barcelona in recent weeks.

Some reports have in fact already suggested that the clubs have held talks and everything suggests that the former Racing Club player will depart the Nerazzurri for the Blaugrana at the end of the season.
