Inter’s postponed match against Sampdoria will not be re-scheduled for next week according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.
It had been suggested that Inter’s Coppa Italia semi final second leg against Napoli could have been re-scheduled but the decision has been taken for the Coppa Italia to go on as planned thus meaning Inter will play away to Napoli next Thursday night.
The new date for Inter’s match against Sampdoria still remains a mystery and much will depend on how Inter fare in the Europa League and the Coppa Italia.
League organisers are currently working things out and an official announcement regarding a new date for Inter’s match as well as the three other matches postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak could well be made today.
Atalanta vs Sassuolo could be re-scheduled for March 18, Torino vs Parma could take place on either March 4 or March 11 and Hellas Verona vs Cagliari could be played on March 11 or March 18.
