Inter have identified three young Italian midfielders that they could potentially bolster their midfield with in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The Nerazzurri club wish to increase the contingent of young Italian players at the club and add to the likes of Nicolo Barella, Alessandro Bastoni and Sebastiano Esposito, all of whom have made an impact this season in the first team.
The first player Inter are keen on is Brescia’s Sandro Tonali, who is widely regarded as one of the most promising Italian youngsters out there at the moment. Inter face competition from the likes of Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan among others for Tonali, who Brescia value at €50 million.
Fiorentina’s Gaetano Castrovilli is another player on Inter’s wishlist. Although he only recently penned a new long term deal with the Viola, in the event of a big offer, the Florence based club could be open to talks.
The final name is that of Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini. Contract talks between Pellegrini and the Giallorossi club have stalled which has led to doubts being cast over his future in the Italian capital and Inter could well move for him if Roma are to put him on the transfer market.
