Lautaro Martinez & Kwadwo Asmoah To Begin Training With Inter Tomorrow

Antonio Conte will welcome Lautaro Martinez and Kwadwo Asmoah into his Inter squad for the first time tomorrow, according to Tuttosport.

Inter’s first team will not resume preseason training until Wednesday, with Conte giving them three days off after returning from their tour in Asia.

Lautaro and Asmoah will arrive at Appiano Gentile on Tuesday, though, so they are already up to speed somewhat when the real action begins.

Inter’s penultimate friendly will take place against Tottenham on Sunday, before they travel to play Valencia on 10 August.

Conte’s two latecomers had their summer holidays delayed after they represented their countries at major tournaments last month.

Lautaro helped Argentina reach the Copa America semi-finals, scoring in wins against Qatar and Venezuela, while Asamoah’s Ghana made it to the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Mauro Icardi will also return to the first-team fold on Wednesday, but his preseason began on time at the start of July.

The 26-year-old trained alone at Appiano while Inter toured Singapore and China, but he is now due to be reunited with his teammates.
