Inter CEO Marotta Wanting To Bring More Italian Players To Inter

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta shall seek to further Italianise Inter in the upcoming transfer windows according to a report from FCInter1908.it.

Daniel Padelli, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Andrea Ranocchia, Alessandro Bastoni, Cristiano Biraghi, Nicolo Barella, Stefano Sensi, Roberto Gagliardini, Antonio Candreva, Sebastiano Esposito and Matteo Politano make up the current Italian contingent in the first team.

Marotta has aspirations of building an Italian core, most of which will hopefully go on to represent Italy at the next World Cup in Qatar in 2022, should they qualify.

As per the report, Marotta has already identified a few players that Inter could bring in. These players are Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa and Gaetano Castrovilli, Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi.

Inter have also maintained a buy back option as part of the deal that sent Andrea Pinamonti to Genoa and Marotta is keeping a close eye on how the young striker fares for the Rossoblu.
